Sound Healing:
Sound healing is a holistic therapy that uses sound vibrations to promote physical, emotional, and mental well-being. This practice involves using various instruments, such as singing bowls, gongs, drums, and tuning forks, which produce different frequencies and vibrations that help balance and harmonize the body's energy systems. Sound healing is often used to reduce stress, alleviate pain, improve sleep quality, and enhance overall health and wellness.
Reiki:
Reiki is a Japanese holistic healing technique that channels universal life energy to promote balance and harmony within the body, mind, and spirit. This gentle, non-invasive practice is known to reduce stress, enhance relaxation, and support overall well-being.
Yoga:
This is not a yoga class. This is a treatment plan that uses yoga techniques and postures. This therapy focuses prominently somatic therapy which incorporates body-oriented modalities such as movement, breathwork, and meditation to support mental healing. In addition, our somatic approach includes talk therapy and mind-body exercises. The treatment plan focuses on fixing what is going on in your body in order to heal your body and mind and vice versa.
Wellness:
Having good mental health is almost impossible when your body doesn't feel the way it should. Trauma and stress are stored in our bodies. Like toxins, they cause our bodies, and eventually our mental health, to deteriorate. This is why we focus on mind and body wellness which we call Mind Body Matters.

Yoga Instructor
Anjali Kingsley
Anjali started her yoga journey in 2007 when she felt called to travel to India. She traveled to the Ayurveda Retreat in Tamil Nadu, completed her teacher training and became a certified registered yoga teacher. The call to travel to India came from years of fighting an autoimmune disease that left her distressed and physically and emotionally drained. After she enrolled in the teaching training program, she learned the history and philosophy of yoga and committed to its mental and physical exercises daily. With time, she developed a deeper understanding and appreciation for the practice, and she began to witness the powerful effects of yoga on her mind and body. After returning to Chicago, she started to teach at a few gyms and studios around the city. She became interested in working with clients with health limitations and began to teach private outpatient yoga at The Cancer Integrative Center at Rush University Medical Center. Shortly thereafter, she started an outpatient yoga program at The Cancer Center at St. Joseph Hospital and also began to teach group classes at the Diamond Headache Clinic. She developed a process to tailor personalized sessions to clients depending on their specific health conditions and build on their personal progress over time. As she continued to teach, she observed the benefits that yoga could offer to anyone regardless of physical ability. It was evident that many clients came in feeling stressed and would leave feeling calm, strengthened, focused, and present. They wholeheartedly believe in the transformative power of yoga and find tremendous joy in sharing the practice with others. She aspires to lead classes that welcome students into a space where they allow themselves to move their bodies with grace, breathe into the present moment, and connect to their inner guidance and wisdom within.
Kundalini Yoga and Healer
Dyal Gobinde Singh
Dyal Gobinde Singh (Sustainer of Compassionate Grace), an Evanston Native, has been teaching Kundalini Yoga for seven years in his hometown Chicagoland and passionately practicing for close to a decade. Ever since it came into his world he's been graced by the discipline of yoga and continues to find new, better ways to learn, grow, serve, share, teach, and inspire through that same power of evolutionary yogic grace. He received his 200hr kundalini instructor training in New Mexico in 2016, is currently getting his 500hr kundalini teacher training, and received a 600hr Taoist Healing Arts Massage Training in Crestone, Colorado in 2020. In 2021, he began humbly walking the path of the Red Road and is a committed student of indigenous original wisdom healing traditions. Kundalini Yoga for Mental Health is a transformative and holistic approach to mental well-being that combines ancient yogic practices with modern psychological insights. In this class, participants will engage in a series of dynamic movements, breathwork (pranayama), meditation, and mantra chanting specifically designed to activate and balance the Kundalini energy – the dormant spiritual energy believed to reside at the base of the spine.
The class aims to provide a comprehensive toolkit for managing stress, anxiety, and depression by fostering a deep connection between the mind, body, and spirit. Kundalini Yoga's unique blend of physical postures, breath control, and meditation techniques helps release tension, clear mental fog, and promote emotional stability.
